Top Tier K9 Master Trainer Program
Foundation Dogs® allow a trainer to store value in a puppy regardless of current workload (or lack thereof for many in the industry today). The first 16 weeks of a puppy's life is the most critical time for learning. The puppy is learning no matter what you do, it is probably learning bad behaviors if you are not well versed in training.
A Foundation Dog® is trained in 50 elements that roll up into 4 specific functions: Tracking, scent detection, protection/apprehension, advanced obedience.
Once a dog is a certified Foundation Dog® (quality tested on the 50 elements and 4 functions by a certified Top Tier K9 Instructor), it is ready for "Finishing School". A Foundation Dog® is ready to be "Finished" as a Military/Police K9, Service Dog for people with disabilities, therapy dog, emotional support dog, Executive/Family protection dog, sport dog...and so much more.
Our Masters programs teach our certified Foundation Dog® trainers how to finish a Foundation Dog for any mission. This allows our graduates to store value in puppies throughout the year and "finish" them for specific buyers later in the sales cycle.
