Our 15 dogs for 15 veterans project was a success. We capped the project with a demonstration in Denver Colorado in front of an audience of 300 people presented by Bridget Weidner, owner of Top Tier K9 - Aurora Colorado. The presentation was a part of the American Military Family (AMF) annual event. 3 Disabled veterans were awarded dogs through the AMF. Other charities participating in the 15 for 15 project were Forgotten Coast K9, The EOD Foundation, and direct awards to individual veterans. 4 Top Tier K9 Franchises were involved, Top Tier K9 - Greenwood IN, Top Tier K9 - Bradenton Fl, Top Tier K9 - Aurora Co, and Top Tier K9 - Blackwater Bay Fl.
Headquarters relocation: We have completed the build out and move of our headquarters from Madison Fl to Milton Fl and conducted our most recent Pet Trainer certification in Milton. All certifications, VR development and Franchise support will come from our Milton location. Madison will become a seminar center and Foundation Dog training center for our inventory of service dogs, protection dogs and special security dogs.
Launching of O'Fallon Missouri took place in October 2023 and York Pennsylvania launches this month. We are averaging 1 new franchise every 6 weeks and in the world of non-food franchising, that is double the national average. All Top Tier K9 Franchises participate in our service dog, protection dog, and special security dog programs. Level 2 franchises can perform all the services necessary to train and deliver quality working dogs through our Foundation Dog® program and level 1 franchises can resell finished dogs provided by Top Tier K9® Corporate.
January 11, 2024 is our next Pet Trainer class and is filling up fast. For 2023 we averaged 18 students per class and ran 5 classes for the year. That is 90 students for 2023 and we are looking forward to a strong 2024 as well! Our next Introduction to Foundation Dog® class begins tomorrow 11/8/2023.
