Greenwood Indiana

Located just south of Indianapolis, Top Tier K9 of Greenwood is prepared to meet your dog training needs. We offer 3 to 4 week Board and Train Programs with the goal of ensuring that you and your dog are properly trained in communication and basic obedience.

What to Expect:

  • Call (317) 447-0853 to schedule an evaluation. At the evaluation we will discuss your specific needs and any behavioral issues the dog may have. We also evaluate the level of engagement you or a responsible member of your household is willing to commit to learning to maintain the training.

  • At the completion of the evaluation we will effectively define your needs and ensure you understand how we intend to meet these needs. Setting proper expectations allows us to work together and accomplish those goals.

  • We use a science based balanced approach to training. Timing, motivation and consistency are the most important elements to effective training. We teach you how to train your dog, while we are training your dog. Each week of training you will come in and see the progress your dog is making. We will also support you through the implementation of new dog handling skills you have gained.

  •

Most challenges that a dog presents to integrating into our lives can be solved by them reliably following five basic commands; “Sit”, “Down”, “Come”, “Climb” or “Place”, and “Heel”. Your dog demonstrating these reliably will be our focus during the board and train. We will teach you how to strengthen and maintain these behaviors in your environment and through their life.
